What are some good books like this?
I was a big reader in high school, but since going to college I just haven't seemed to be able to find anything new I was interested in. I'm looking for adult/older young adult books, but alot of my favorites are still from school.
Some of my favorite books included the Giver, Gathering Blue, The City of Ember, The Da Vinci Code, House of the Scorpion, the juvenile series Animorphs and the Everest, Dive, and Island Trilogies by Gordon Korman.
I like futuristic/dystopian worlds alot, some sci-fi type, but nothing too extreme. Basically something with an adventure/mystery or a journey the character go on. I don't really care if it has romance or not, but I definitely don't want a story focused around teen drama/relationships. I'm looking for books, but some movies that I think of like that are Stardust, Sahara, The Italian Job, and The Mummy.
Can anyone think of some books like that?
